What does Surfpay cost?
Surfpay costs 0.99% per transaction with no monthly fees. There are no setup fees, no binding period, and you get unlimited transactions.
Do alternative payment methods cost extra?
Only Klarna costs extra. Swish, MobilePay and Vipps are included in the price. Klarna costs 2.79% + 3.50 per transaction.
Are there any minimum fees?
Yes. To cover the costs of processing a transaction we charge a minimum fee of 0.99 per transaction.
Which payment methods can I accept?
All major cards, digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, and local payment methods including Swish, Vipps and Klarna.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Surfpay runs directly on iPhone and Android phones. You do not need a card reader or any other hardware — download the app and get started.
How quickly do I receive my payments?
Payouts can arrive as early as the next day after the transaction, depending on your bank. Otherwise the payout is processed within two business days.
Is Surfpay safe to use?
Yes. Surfpay follows the security standards for card payments and is PCI DSS certified. All data is encrypted and we use the same security level as banks.
What happens if the customer needs to enter their PIN?
The solution is fully certified and secure. When a customer needs to enter their PIN it is done securely within the app, and never leaves your device.
Which devices can I use?
An iPhone XS or later, or an Android phone running Android 10 or later with an NFC chip. Most Android phones newer than 2018 will work.
